The Estonian International Commission for the Investigation of Crimes against Humanity met in Tallinn

Today, the Estonian International Commission for the Investigation of Crimes against Humanity convened in Tallinn to hold its seventh meeting, chaired by the Commission’s Chairman, Minister Max Jakobson.

On the meeting, the research group’s work in investigating the Soviet occupation in 1940-1941 was discussed, as well as matters related to the publication of the Commission’s report. The Commission’s next meeting will take place in February 2002.

President Lennart Meri, the initiator of the Commission, invited the Commission to lunch.
