President of the Republic is concerned about the security of the state

President of the Republic sent a letter to the Prime Minister on 17 April expressing his concern that according to the information published in the press the security risks have not been sufficiently managed in the privatisation of Eesti Raudtee.
The President expects from the Prime Minister, who is according to the Security Authorities Act in charge of the Security Committee of the Republic of Estonia that is engaged in the analysis and assessment of the security situation in the state, an overview of how the Government of the Republic or its members or government agencies have managed security risks so far, who and in what manner has been made responsible for the management of these risks and what is the responsibility of state officials and politicians expressed in.
