The President of the Republic met the Czech Prime Minister

President Lennart Meri received Miloš Zeman, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, and his accompanying delegation, in Kadriorg today.

On the meeting, the Czech Prime Minister and the President of the Republic concentrated on the discussion of the future of the European Union and countries of Europe, and agreed that the multitude of nationalities and languages of Europe is the pledge of Europe’s success. The President of the Republic emphasised that it is the multitude of languages and attitudes has that generated many different solutions for similar problems, thus carrying forward the development of Europe; therefore, this diversity must be protected.
