Jüri Luik submitted the report of the command systems reform working group to President of the Republic

This afternoon, President of the Republic met the Minister of Defence Jüri Luik, head of the command systems reform working group that had been established to the National Defence Council; and Jüri Luik submitted to him the final report of the command system reforms working group. The report delineates the basic principles for modernising the command system of the Estonian defence forces. Modernisation of the command system of the Estonian defence forces is one of the main tasks of this year's NATO Membership Action Plan.

The final report of the command system reform working group is included in the agenda of the next meeting of the National Defence Council; the National Defence Council will discuss the detailed schedule of implementing command systems reform.
