President of the Republics Roundtable of National Minorities Held a Meeting

Today, on the meeting of the Presidents Roundtable of National Minorities, President of the Republic presented Hagi Shein (b. 1945), his new representative at the Roundtable. Hagi Shein is the Dean of the media department of the Concordia University.
The Roundtable had also invited to the meeting Katrin Saks, the Minister of Population, who gave a survey of the Governments work in the field of integration and national minorities. President of the Republic and Minister Katrin Saks answered the questions of the members of the Roundtable.
The Roundtable discussed plans for the future and functions of the Roundtable, and reached the conclusion that it is important for the Roundtable to continue its activities as a consulting council, and that the Roundtable would continue with the old membership.
