The President of the Republic appointed a new Ambassador to the Russian Federation

President Lennart Meri signed the resolution to appoint Karin Jaani the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Russian Federation in Paris today.

With his resolution, the President recalled Tiit Matsulevitsh, who had been the Ambassador to the Russian Federation so far, as well as Mart Laanemäe, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Hungary, Ruth Lausma-Luik, the Ambassador to the Republic of France, and Mati Vaarmann, the Ambassador to the Republic of Finland.
