The President of the Republic participates in the meeting of three Baltic heads of states

On Monday, November 10 a regular meeting of three Baltic presidents with President of the Republic of Estonia Lennart Meri participating, will be held in Palanga, a well-known Lithuanian resort.

The official delegation accompanying the President of the Republic includes Estonian Ambassador to Lithuania Alar Oljum, Deputy Under-secretary Mart Laanemäe, Director of the Office of the President, Foreign Adviser to the President Kaja Tael, Foreign Minister’s Head of the Desk Janne Jõesaar and Adviser to the President Toomas Kiho.

This time the presidents of the Baltic states will discuss topics related to three main areas: Baltic co-operation, relations between the Baltic states and Russia and EU enlargement issues.

The previous meeting between the three presidents of Baltic states took place in Otepää in May 1997.

The President of the Republic will return on November 10 in the evening.
