The President of the Republic confers the Cross of St. Marys Land on the Ambassadors of Latvia, China, and Austria
20.09.2001President Lennart Meri signed the resolution today to confer the I Class Order of the Cross of St. Marys Land on Gints Jegermanis, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Republic of Estonia in 19982001, in recognition of his services to the Republic of Estonia.
The President decided to confer the I Class Order of the Cross of St. Marys Land on Mingrong Zou, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Peoples Republic of China to the Republic of Estonia in 19982001 in recognition of his services to the Republic of Estonia.
The President decided to recognise Michael Miess, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Estonia in 19972000, with the II Class Order of the Cross of St. Marys Land.
