President Meri will leave for a working visit to Kiel tomorrow, on March 19. The President will meet Mrs. Heide Simonis, the Prime Minister of the State of Schleswig-Holstein. The Estonian President has been requested to give a speech at the ceremony of delivering the Hermann Ehlers Academy Award to Roman Herzog, the former President of the Federal Republic of Germany. The President will also make an entry to the Golden Book of the city of Kiel.

President Meri will confer the I Class Order of the Cross of St. Mary's Land on Professor Dr. Roman Herzog in Kiel.

President Meri will be back in Estonia on Tuesday.
