The President of the Republic of Hungary will come on a state visit to Estonia

On the invitation of President Lennart Meri, the President of the Republic of Hungary Ferenc Mádl and Mrs. Dalma Mádlné will be on a state visit to Estonia on December 12-14. The Hungarian President will come to Tallinn from Helsinki, where the Finnish, Hungarian and Estonian President will participate on the Finno-Ugrian World Congress on December 11.

The official welcoming ceremony of the visit will take place in front of the presidential palace of Kadriorg on December 12 at 2:30 PM, and is going to be followed by official meetings. The Hungarian President will also meet Chairman of the Riigikogu Toomas Savi and Prime Minister Mart Laar, as well as municipal leaders of Tartu and Tallinn.

On Friday, December 1, President Meri signed the resolution to confer the Grand Cross with Collar of the Order of St. Mary's Land on Ferenc Mádl, President of the Republic of Hungary, and the I Class Order of the Cross of St. Mary's Land on his spouse Dalma Mádlné Némethy in connection with the state visit.
