Today in Kadriorg, President Lennart Meri signed the resolution to proclaim the ''Act Amending Sections 32 and 331 of the Broadcasting Act'', the ''Act Amending the 'Convention on Temporary Admission' Accession Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on December 5, the ''Notaries Act Amendment Act'', the ''Protocol to the 1979 Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution on Long-Term Financing of the Cooperative Programme for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Long-Range Transmission of Air Pollutants in Europe (EMEP) Accession Act'', the ''Income Tax Act Amendment Act'', the ''State Family Benefits Act Amendment Act'', the ''Act Amending Section 21 of the Republic of Estonia Employment Contract Act'', the '''Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data' Ratification Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on December 6, the ''Act Amending the Forest Act, the Radiation Act, the Earth's Crust Act, and the Public Water Supply and Sewerage Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on December 12, and the ''Human Genes Research Act'', the ''Surveillance Act Amendment Act'', the ''Act Amending Section 169 of the Public Service Act'', the ''State Pension Insurance Act Amendment Act'', and the ''Social Tax Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on December 13.

The President also proclaimed the ''Act Amending Section 41 of the State Pension Insurance Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on December 14, the ''Alcohol Excise Tax Act Amendment Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on December 20, and the ''Act Amending Section 63 of the Government of the Republic Act'', and the ''The Act Amending Section 1 of the Republic of Estonia Determination of the Number of Courts of Law and Court Panels as well as the Number of Lay Judges in County and City Courts'', passed in the Riigikogu on December 21.
