Tomorrow, on October 27 at 5.30 PM in the Kadriorg Presidential Palace, President Lennart Meri will receive His All Holiness the Archbishop of Constantinople – New Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew who is visiting Estonia.

The president will give the first class order of the Cross of Terra Mariana to the Ecumenical Patriarch and after the meeting the Estonian head of state will offer a dinner to His All Holiness.

The last time that President Lennart Meri and the Ecumenical Patriarch met was on May 24, 1999 in Athens, when the President of the Republic was on his official visit to Greece.
