President Lennart Meri will make a working visit to the Viru County from Tuesday to Thursday this week. Tomorrow, the President will visit the Estonian school at Sillamäe and the Silmet joint stock company. In the evening, the President will be at Narva: first, the President will have meetings at the Narva College of Tartu University and with the Alexander Congregation of Narva of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church, and then at the Kreenholm textile industry.

Wednesday morning, the President will visit Narva-Jõesuu and the northern coast, as well as the Repo factories at Püssi; in the evening the President will visit Alajõe on the shore of Lake Peipsi.

On Thursday, the President will visit Kuremäe Nunnery, and at 5 PM, a meeting of the President's Academic Council will start in Rakvere; the Academic Council will discuss the future of the Estonian language in information society.
