The Command Systems Reform Working Group completed its tasks

Today, on September 27, the fifth meeting of the Command Systems Reform Working Group took place. Minister of Defence Jüri Luik, who is the Head of the working group, chaired the meeting, and the following members of the working group participated: Tiit Tammsaar, Chairman of the National Defence Committee of the Riigikogu; Rear Admiral Tarmo Kõuts, Commander of the Defence Forces; Lieutenant General Johannes Kert, Brigadier General Märt Tiru and Urmas Reinsalu, Director of the Office of the President. Lieutenant-Colonel Aarne Ermus, Commander of the General Staff of the Defence Forces, as well as Lieutenant-Colonel German Kesa, Head of the Planning and Analysis Department of the General Staff (J-5), and Tiit Noorkõiv, Head of the Defence Policy and Planning Department of the Ministry of Defence, participated in the meeting as experts.

With today's meeting, the command systems reform working group completed its work. The members of the working group principally approved the draft of the working group's final report, to which the working group members can make amendments during this week. Thereafter, the Minister of Defence Jüri Luik, Head of the working group, will present the final report to the National Defence Council.
