Yesterday evening, Mrs. Helle Meri received in Kadriorg the participants of the Home Daughters' Family Days, nearly 80 people all in all. The Home Daughters greeted Mrs. Helle Meri with the song ''Maarjamaa'', after which Mrs. Helle Meri showed the children round in the presidential palace of Kadriorg. Mrs. Meri also took the children for a walk in the palace garden where they together recalled the story of Estonia's independence. The Home Daughters told Mrs. Helle Meri about the activities and tasks of their organisation. Mrs. Helle Meri is the guardian of the Home Daughters. Finally, the friendship circle of Home Daughters was formed.

A joint photograph was taken as a souvenir of the meeting, and each participant will receive a copy. The Home Daughters had brought home-made presents to Mrs. Helle Meri. There were also Young Eagles among the guests. President of the Republic is the guardian of the Young Eagles.
