President Lennart Meri has decided to confer the I Class Order of the Cross of St Mary's Land on Timothy James Craddock, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the II Class Order of the Cross of St. Mary's Land to Jakub Wołąsiewicz, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland, and to Arhi Palosuo, Head of the European Commission's Delegation to Estonia, for their services to the Republic of Estonia.

The President will confer the decoration on Ambassador Arhi Palosuo on August 1 at Paslepa, and on the British Ambassador on August 2, in the presidential palace of Kadriorg, when the Ambassadors are going to pay their farewell visit to the President.
