President Lennart Meri signed the resolution to proclaim the ''Rescue Act Amendment Act'' , passed in the Riigikogu on May 30, in Kadriorg today.

The President also proclaimed today the ''EU Council Regulation (EEC) No. 2137/85 ''The European Economic Interest Grouping'' Application Act'', and the ''Accession to the United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act'', as well as the ''Ratification of the Amended European Social Charter Act'', and the ''People's Register Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on May 31.

The President also proclaimed the ''Act Amending Subsection 2 of Section 40 of the Traffic Insurance Act'' passed in the Riigikogu on June 1, and the ''State Fees Act Amendment Act'', and the ''Act Amending the Animal Protection Act, the Code of Administrative Offences and the Criminal Code'', as well as the ''Act Amending Section 67 of the Government of the Republic Act'' and the ''Act Amending Section 5 of the Commercial Code'', passed in the Riigikogu on June 6.

The President also signed the resolution to proclaim the ''Responding to Applications Act Amendment Act'', and the ''Convention between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital and the Protocol Related Thereto Ratification Act'', and the ''Act Amending the Code of Administrative Offences and the Criminal Code'', and the ''State Property Act Amendment Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on June 7.
