President Lennart Meri signed the resolution to proclaim the ''Insurance Activities Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on June 6, and the ''Act Amending the Government of the Republic Act, the Code of Civil Procedures, the Code of Criminal Procedures and the State Property Act'', the ''Road Transport Act'', the ''Code of Administrative Procedures Application Act'', and the ''Act Amending the Government of the Republic Act and the State Public Servants Official Titles and Salary Scale Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on June 7, in Kadriorg today.

The President also proclaimed today the ''Act Amending Section 721 of the Local Government Organisation Act'', the ''Act Amending Legal Acts Related to the Second Land Reform Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on June 13, and the ''Act Amending Sections 34 and 35 of the Citizenship Act'', and the ''Act Amending Section 17 of the Republic of Estonia Principles of Ownership Reform Act, Section 14 of Valuation and Compensation of Unlawfully Expropriated Property Act and Section 29 of the Privatisation Act'', as well as the ''Act Amending Section 13 of the Law on Property Act Application Act'', the ''Language Act Amendment Act'', the ''Republic of Estonia Employment Contract Act Amendment Act'', the ''Loan Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and Nordic Investment Bank Ratification Act'', the ''Assessment of Environmental Impact and Environment Audit Act'', and the ''Act Amending the Pre-School Children's Institutions Act, the Elementary and Secondary School Act and the State Fees Act'', as well as the ''Vocational Training School Act Amendment Act'', the ''Act Amending the Code of Administrative Offences, the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedures'', the ''Act Amending Section 64 of the Government of the Republic Act'', the ''Value Added Tax Act Amendment Act'', the ''Amendment to Paragraph 2 of Article 43 of the Convention of the Rights of the Child Ratification Act'', the ''Convention Concerning the Prevention of Major Industrial Accidents Ratification Act'', and the ''Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on June 14.
