President Lennart Meri signed the resolution to appoint Mart Laanemäe the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Swiss Confederation, Andres Toomasberg the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Spain, and Toomas Tiivel the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Sweden.

President Lennart Meri signed the resolution to recall Margus Laidre, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Federal Republic of Germany and Andres Unga, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Kingdom of Sweden.
