President of the Republic signed the resolution to confer the I Class Order of the Cross of The Eagle to General Wesley C. Clark, Supreme Allied Commander Europe of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, in recognition of his services to the Republic of Estonia, in the presidential palace of Kadriorg today.

President Meri will confer the decoration on General Clark tomorrow. President Lennart Meri and Mrs. Helle Meri will host a dinner in honour of General Clark and his spouse at Viimsi tomorrow.
