President Lennart Meri today signed the resoltuion to proclaim the Criminal Code and the ''Republic of Estonia Act on the Enforcement of the New Edition of the Criminal Code of the ESSR'' – the Criminal Code'', and the ''State Pension Insurance Act Amendment Act'' and the ''Act Amending Sections 9 and 52 of the Elementary and Secondary Schools Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on April 4.

The President also proclaimed the ''Local Taxes Act Amendment Act'', and the ''Documents Amending the Statutes and Convention of the International Telecommunications Union Ratification Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on April 5.

The President also proclaimed the ''Act Amending Section 6 of the Aliens Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on April 11.

The President also proclaimed the ''Social Welfare Act Amendment Act'', the ''Fuel Excise Tax Act and Fiscal Marking of Liquid Fuel Act Amendment Act'', and the ''Act Ratifying the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and the Nordic Investment Bank'', passed in the Riigikogu on April 12.
