President Lennart Meri met Prime Minister Mart Laar and Governor of the Bank of Estonia Vahur Kraft in Kadriorg today to discuss the strategical planning of the Estonian state and the Estonian economy, and the possibilities for the Government of the Republic and the Bank of Estonia to co-operate in this field.

The Academic Council of the President of the Republic, which is going to convene this month, will address the same issue.
