President Lennart Meri yesterday hosted a dinner in honour of William Richardson, the US Secretary of Energy, who is currently on a visit in Estonia. On the meeting, the energy problems in Estonia, as well as in Russia and in the Caspian Sea region, were discussed.

President Meri and the Minister also discussed the current situation in Russia and the relations between Estonia and the United States.
