President Lennart Meri today signed the resolution to proclaim the ''Securities Market Act, Investment Funds Act and the Criminal Code Amendment Act'' passed in the Riigikogu on January 18, as well as the ''Plant Variety Rights Act'', and the ''Accession to the Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution and the Protocols Related Thereto Act'', and the ''Police Service Act Amendment Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on January 19.

The President also proclaimed the ''Public Transport Act'' and the ''Salary Act Amendment Act'', passed in the Riigikogu on Janaury 26, 1999.
