On Friday, February 11, the President's Roundtable of National Minorities will convene at the Viru Hotel Conference Centre in order to discuss the sources and principles of financing the cultural activities of national minorities and the interim report of the legislation working group of the Roundtable on the amendment of the legislative regulation of the field of national minorities. The agenda also includes the discussion of the amendments to the state programme ''Integration in the Estonian Society 2000-2007''.

This time the Roundtable will convene in extended membership, as Hagi Shein, the representative of the President of the Republic at the Roundtable, has requested also the representatives of the political parties represented in the Riigikogu, as well as experts on ethnic issues and representatives of the cultural societies of the national minorities to participate in the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, journalists may request additional information.
