The President of Finland will come on a visit to Tallinn

On the invitation of President Lennart Meri, the President of the Republic of Finland Martti Ahtisaari will come to Tallinn for one-day visit on Friday, February 18.

President Martti Ahtisaari and Mrs. Eeva Ahtisaari will arrive on a special plane on Friday at 14.15 at the Tallinn Airport, where also the official ceremony of welcome will take place.

President Lennart Meri and Mrs. Helle Meri will offer the Finnish Head of State and his spouse a lunch at their Viimsi home.

After lunch, the President of Finland and the President of Estonia will take a walk on Toompea, and in the afternoon the two Heads of State will have a meeting in Kadriorg.

The President of the Republic of Finland and Mrs. Ahtisaari will leave Tallinn on Friday evening on a special plane. Before their departure, at 18.45, the President of Finland and the President of Estonia will answer the questions of journalists in the VIP-room of Tallinn Airport.
