On Christmas Eve, President Lennart Meri, Mrs. Helle Meri and Tuule Meri are going to visit the liturgical service at Ridala, Lääne County. The service will be held by Archbishop Jaan Kiivit of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dean of the Lääne Deanery Tiit Salumäe, and Peeter Paenurm, Pastor of the Holy Congregation of Mary Magdalene of Ridala.

The Christmas service at Ridala will also be broadcast by the Estonian Television.

The President and his family are going to spend Christmas at their home in Viimsi.
