Today, the farmers from Pärnu and Viljandi County, who had offered the opportunity for learning the Estonian language to the children from Narva and the Eastern Viru County, visited the Office of the President of the Republic of Estonia.

President Lennart Meri had a meeting with the farmers participating in the language learning project of the non-profit organisation Caritas in the State Council Hall. The President highly appreciated the farmers' work in teaching Estonian, and thanked them for their support to the children learning our national language.

The farmers heard an outline of the President's work and looked around in the building of the President's Office.
