President of the Republic sent his condolences to the wife and children of Sergei Pärn, the policeman wounded on duty who died in hospital tonight. The President wrote that the attack against the policeman was an attack against the Estonian State.

The killed policeman was loyal to his duties till his last moments, and will be a paragon of responsibility and bravery to us all, the President wrote. The Estonian Head of State will send a wreath to the policeman Sergei Pärn's funeral.
