On the invitation of the President of the Republic, the President of the Republic of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga will visit Estonia on August 29-30. The Latvian President will arrive in Tallinn by plane on August 29 at 17.30. The Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga will have a meeting with President Meri in the Paslepa Residence at 19.00. President Meri will host a dinner in honour of his Latvian colleague.

On the second day of her working visit, the Latvian President will have meetings with the Estonian Prime Minister, the Chairman of the Riigikogu and other state officials.
