President Lennart Meri received Hans-Ulrich Klose, the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany, in Kadriorg today.

On the meeting, the Estonian Head of State and the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the German Parliament discussed the historical relations between the two countries. According to President Meri, the historical background has had a significant role in the building of good relations between Estonia and Germany. Hans-Ulrich Klose expressed his appreciation of Estonia’s success.
