The plenipotentiary ambassador extraordinary of the Republic of Ukraine to Estonia Juri Olenenko visited the President of the Republic in Paslepa today.

President Meri awarded the first class order of the Cross of Terra Mariana to the leaving ambassador of the Ukraine and the present chief of the diplomatic corps of foreign states for the services rendered to the Republic of Estonia and her people. The President also thanked the ambassador for his work of six years which helped Estonia and the Ukraine to become close partner states.
