Today evening in Paslepa, President Meri met with General Sir Charles Cuthrie, Commander of the British Regular Armed Forces, and the delegation that accompanied him. President Meri offered General Cuthrie a dinner in the course of which the outlook of military co-operation between the United Kingdom and Estonia was discussed. The Commander of the British Regular Armed Forces praised the Centre of Peace Operations in Paldiski and appreciated the wish of Estonia to assist peace guards with their work in Kosovo.
