Today, President Meri signed the resolution to proclaim the ''Industrial Hygiene and Safety Act'', ''The Broadcasting Act Amendment Act'', ''The Adult Education Act Amendment Act'', ''The General Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Ratification Act'', which were passed in Riigikogu on June 16.

Today, the President proclaimed ''The 1999 Additional State Budget Act'' and the Protocol of Specification of Trade Provisions of the Association Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States to consider that the Republic of Austria, the Republic of Finland and the Kingdom of Sweden have joined the European Union and the Uruguay stage of agricultural negotiations, and ''The ratification act'' for amendment of valid benefits, which were passed by Riigikogu on June 28.
