President of the Republic will travel to Riga for the meeting of four Presidents on Monday, June 28, on the invitation of Guntis Ulmanis, the President of the Republic of Latvia. In Riga, a meeting of the Polish President Aleksander Kwasnievski, the Latvian President Guntis Ulmanis, the Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus, and the Estonian President Lennart Meri will take place.

President Lennart Meri is going to have separate bilateral meetings with Valdas Adamkus, the President of Lithuania, and Vaira Vike-Freiberga, who has been elected the new President of Latvia.

In the evening, the resigning Latvian President Guntis Ulmanis will host a dinner in the Castle of Rundale.
