President Lennart Meri today signed the resolution to proclaim 'The Criminal Code and Criminal Procedures Code Amendment Act', 'The Riigi Teataja Act Amendment Act', 'The Additional Protocol to the Council of Europe Convention on Transfer of Sentenced Persons Ratification Act', the 'Motor Vehicle Excise Tax Act Amendment Act', and the 'Import, Export and Transit of Strategic Goods Act', the 'Epizootic Control Act', the 'Veterinary Activities Organisation Act', the 'Social Protection of the Unemployed Act Amendment Act', the 'Alcohol Act Amendment Act', and the 'Act Amending Section 519 of the Commercial Code', passed in the Riigikogu on June 16.

The President also proclaimed today the 'Guarantee Agreement between the Republic of Estonia and the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development Ratification Act', passed by the Riigikogu on June 17, and the 'Tobacco Excise Tax Act Amendment Act', passed in the Riigikogu on June 21.
