President of the Republic today hosted a lunch to the participants of the symposium dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the North Atlantic Treaty and the NATO enlargement. Among the invited guests were Robert Nurick from the Rand Corporation, Klaus Wittmann German delegation to NATO, Anders Troldborg, Permanent Secretary of the Danish Ministry of Defence, Svend Roed Nielsen, Ambassador of Denmark to Estonia, the Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Toomas Hendrik Ilves and Minister of Defence Jüri Luik, and Harri Tiido, Chairman of the Board of the North Atlantic Institute of Estonia.

The discussion focused on the events of Kosovo.
