President Lennart Meri will tomorrow, on April 13, 1999, leave for a working visit to Stockholm where he has been invited by Carl Bildt, leader of the Swedish Moderates Party, to participate in the Seminar of the Communist Crimes organised by the Jarl Hjalmarsson Foundation.

On the seminar taking place in the Swedish Parliament Building, Stéphane Courtois, composer and one of the authors of the “Black Book on Communism”, will present the book and the main conclusions drawn therefrom. Lennart Meri, President of the Republic of Estonia, Carl Bildt, leader of the Swedish Moderates, and the writer Andres Küng will also speak on the seminar.

Carl Bildt will offer lunch to President Lennart Meri.

The President will be back in Tallinn on Thursday evening.
