President of the Republic visited the Central Council meeting of the Defence League today. In his address, President of the Republic spoke of Estonia’s security policy and will of defence. Lieutenant Colonel Lui Jaanson, Acting Commander of the Defence League, conferred to the President the II Class Badge of Diligence of the White Cross of the Defence League. The representatives of the Young Eagles and the Home Daughters congratulated president Meri on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
