President Lennart Meri promulgated ten laws today, on February 12, 1999: the Code of Administrative Offences and the Criminal Code Amendment Act; and the Act Repealing Section 20¹ of the Broadcasting Act, passed in the Riigikogu on January 25,

and the Local Taxes Act Amendment Act and the State Secrets Act passed in the Riigikogu on January 26, 1999; and the Act Amending Sections 18¹, 21 and 38 of the Income Tax Act; and the London Amendments and Adjustments of June 29, 1990, and the Copenhagen Amendments of November 25, 1992, to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer Ratification Act; and the Social Benefits for the Disabled People Act, passed in the Riigikogu on January 27; and the Code of Administrative Offences and the Traffic Act Amendment Act; and the Act Amending Section 67 of the Government of the Republic Act, passed in the Riigikogu on January 28; and the Language Act and the State Fees Act Amendment Act, passed in the Riigikogu on February 9, 1999.
