Today at 15.45, President Lennart Meri made a telephone call to Kristiina Šmigun, who had won the silver medal in the Nordic world championship of skiing in Ramsau. The President congratulated her heartily and asked her to thank her parents and to give the President’s regards to her brave sister who came in tenth on the championship. “All Estonia is proud of you,” the President said.
