President of the Republic Appointed Ambassadors

President Lennart Meri signed the resolution in Kadriorg today to appoint Jaak Jõerüüt the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Cyprus; to appoint Sulev Kannike the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, the Permanent Representative to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe; to appoint Mart Laanemäe the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Austria, to the Slovak Republic, to the Republic of Slovenia, to the Czech Republic and the Republic of Hungary; to appoint Tiit Matsulevitš the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Georgia, and to appoint Aino Lepik von Wirén the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, the Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe.

The President also signed the resolution today to recall Karin Jaani, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, Permanent Representative to the European Union; to recall Väino Reinart, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, the Permanent Representative to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe; and to recall Toivo Tasa, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Austria, to the Slovak Republic, to the Republic of Slovenia, to the Swiss Confederation, to the Czech Republic and the Republic of Hungary.
