The Christmas cards sent to President Lennart Meri for the Christmas and New Year of 1998/1999 are on display in the National Library from today till the end of the coming week.

For Christmas, the President sent more than 1400 Christmas cards to the Heads of State, social and cultural figures, and good friends all over the world. On the cards there is a photograph by Ann Tenno depicting the snowy Presidential Palace in Kadriorg. Today, more than half a thousand Christmas cards have reached Kadriorg, and new ones are arriving every day. Most of the cards can be seen on the exhibition in the National Library.
