President Bush in his statement today and in his previous speeches throughout the past week has reconfirmed the United States' commitment to include new members in the Atlantic Alliance. He is providing the leadership that we are looking for as we approach the 2002 Prague Summit.
Polish President Aleksander KwaĆniewski, in his speech, reconfirmed Poland's role as a leader in the process to enlarge the Alliance. I am grateful for his strong words.''
