President Lennart Meri signed the resolution to proclaim the “Post Act”, the “Value Added Tax Act”, the “Act Amending Vocational Educational Institutions Act, the Institutions of Applied Higher Education Act, the Republic of Estonia Education Act and the Language Act”, the “National Coat of Arms of Act”, the “Weapons Act”, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Convention (no. 182) ‘Concerning the Prohibition and Immediate Action for Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour’ Ratification Act”, and the “Accession to the Agreement on the Importation of Educational, Scientific and Cultural Materials and its Protocol Act”, passed in the Riigikogu on June 13, and the “Act Amending the Criminal Procedures Act, the Republic of Estonia Act on the ‘Enactment of the New Wording of the ‘Criminal Code of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Estonia’ - the Criminal Code’ - the Criminal Code, the Code of Administrative Offences, and the Taxation Act”, passed in the Riigikogu on June 14.
