The President of the Republic's Roundtable of Ethnic Minorities will discuss the Estonian language policy on a meeting starting 10 AM on Friday, December 18. The amendments to the Language Act (the Riigikogu Bill No. 1030) and the enforcement of minimum language proficiency standards for the members of the Riigikogu and the delegates to local governments (the Riigikogu Bill No. 1073) will be discussed.

Journalists are expected to the Roundtable meeting in the Viru Conference Centre after 1 PM.
