Tomorrow, on November 24, Milan Kučan, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, will arrive on a state visit to Estonia on invitation by President Lennart Meri. President Kučan and Mrs. Stefka Kučan will arrive at the Tallinn Airport at 11 AM, and the official welcoming ceremony will take place at noon in Kadriorg.

During the tête-à-tête meeting of President Meri and President Kučan and Mrs. Helle Meri and Mrs. Stefka Kučan, the delegations of the two countries will also have a meeting at Kadriorg. President Lennart Meri and Mrs. Helle Meri will offer a lunch to President and Mrs. Kučan.

The distinguished guests will lay a wreath to the monument of schoolchildren and teachers killed in the War of Liberty at the School of Sciences. Tomorrow, President Kučan will meet Toomas Savi, Chairman of the Riigikogu, and the Prime Minister Mart Siimann, whereas Mrs. Stefka Kučan and Mrs. Helle Meri will visit the SOS-Kinderdorf (Children's Village) at Keila.

Tomorrow at 16.30, the Agreement of Cooperation in the Field of Defence between Slovenia and Estonia will be signed at the small Press Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the presence of the two Heads of State, after which the two Presidents will give a press conference. In the evening of the first day of the state visit, President Lennart Meri and Mrs. Helle Meri will host a dinner at the House of Blackheads in honour of the distinguished guests.

On the second day of the state visit, the President of Slovenia will deliver a lecture at the Concordia University, after which he will travel to Pärnu and visit the Viisnurk ski and furniture factory. The County Governor Toomas Kivimägi will invite the guests to lunch. The President of Slovenia and Mrs. Stefka Kučan will leave Estonia in the evening of Wednesday, November 25.
