The President's Roundtable of Ethnic Minorities will assemble at Kadriorg for the first meeting of its new complement on March 10. President Lennart Meri approved amendments to the Statutes of the Roundtable and the new complement of the Roundtable on 11 February 1998.

According to the new Statutes, the Roundtable includes representatives of ethnic minorities and political parties. President Meri approved the members of the new complement as follows: Vladimir Velman, Aleksander Dusman, Dayan Ahmetov, Andrei Hvostov, Aleksei Semyonov, Jüri Tammaru, Tõnu Õnnepalu, Borislav Kulyk, Yevgeniya Haponen, Hanon Barabaner, Klara Hallik, Ita Saks, Aap Neljas, Sergei Ivanov, Ants-Enno Lõhmus, Ene Grauberg and Aimar Altosaar.

The Minister Andra Veidemann, the Prime Minister's advisor Yevgeni Golikov, Küllike Tohver from the Open Estonia Foundation, any representative of the Mission of the OSCE as well as representatives of foreign embassies based in Estonia can attend meetings of the Roundtable of Ethnic Minorities as regular guests.
