At Kadriorg on Friday the National Defence Council discussed Estonia's obligations in the implementation of the United Nations resolution, under the commitment made in the Joint Statement of the Presidents of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on February 16 in connection with the situation in the Persian Gulf area.

The Council decided that the first disaster medical team to be given under the command of the international coalition shall be ready to leave within 48 hours.
