The Presidents of Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland meet in Tallinn on the President of the Republic’s invitation

On President Lennart Meri’s invitation, the Finnish President Tarja Halonen, the Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga, the Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus and the Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski meet in Tallinn on Tuesday, September 18.

The meeting will start at 10 AM in the conference centre of the Olympia Hotel, and in addition to the development of mutual relations, also world security and the enlargement of the European Union and NATO will be discussed. President Meri will host a lunch to the Presidents at the presidential palace of Kadriorg, and there will be a concert of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and a reception at the Tallinn Town Hall.

Journalists wishing to record the event are requested to register at the press centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
